Certified Complete EHR

To receive benefits from the Medicare and Medicaid Incentive Programs, the eligible providers including Physician Hospitals and Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) must use Certified EHR technology in a meaningful manner.

Providers can use such certified EHR solutions to qualify for incentive funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009 (ARRA). The ARRA 2009 authorizes CMS to provide reimbursement incentives for eligible professionals and hospitals who are successful in becoming "Meaningful Users" of certified electronic health record (EHR) technology.

KABOT System’s EHR products “KABOT EHR Hospital Edition version 3.0.0.1” and “KABOT Systems EHR Office Edition version 2.0.0.1”, both are certified to provide “Meaningful Use” capability.

The certification has been provided by the Drummond Group Inc. an ONC-ATCB (office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology Authorized Testing and Certification Body) that certifies EHR software solutions.

Eligible Hospitals and Physicians using such certified EHR solutions “meaningfully” can qualify for incentive funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009 (ARRA). The ARRA 2009 authorizes CMS to provide reimbursement the incentives.

These certifications do not represent any endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments.
