Chemotherapy Manager allows the Physician to select a regimen from a preconfigured list of treatment regimen for each tumor.  This ensures a smooth painless and correct ordering of chemotherapy by the physicians and its administration by the nurses.

Key Features of the Application include:

  Chemotherapy Ordering by   Physicians:    

• Preconfigured Chemotherapy regimens, from a data source of the practice’s choice. Physicians can also create new customized regimen templates on the go or add/remove any drugs in a given regimen.
   
• Automated Calculation of the drug dosage based on the patient’s BSA or Serum Creatinine in accordance with requirements of the drug.  If desired the physician can modify the auto-calculated dosage or can add or remove a drug.
   
• The reduction of dosages can be achieved individually or by specifying a percentage for reduction for one or more drugs.

Chemotherapy Administration:

• After the Chemotherapy orders are entered and signed by the physician, these become visible on the Chemo Nurse’s screen.
   
• The nurse selects each drug and drops it down to the administration area.
   
• Latest Lab Results entered in the EMR are displayed by default every time the nurse initiates an administration.
   
• The nurse has the ability to modify dose in consultation with physician and document that fact.
   
• Charges for services provided by the chemo-nurses including drugs and their administration are captured accurately automatically and immediately. Complete chemotherapy administration information is also available as an exportable report.
   

Chemo Therapy tracking:

• Information on all completed and signed Chemo-administrations is sent to the billing service immediately upon completion. Any unsigned and therefore unaccounted for drugs administered are displayed on the homepage until these are signed off. This further ensures that the drugs supplies used for the patient are entered in the system correctly, and are accounted for.
